ALBERT LEA, Minn. — While some schools are already underway, others will be opening their doors tomorrow.
The Albert Lea School District will be one of those welcoming students back to the classroom starting tomorrow.
But it could create some busy times around the city, especially with some construction on the Broadway Streetscape underway.
“Well as everyone knows, the construction time of year is always something we are dealing with in Minnesota,” Albert Lea Mayor Vern Rasmussen said. “I think it is something we are protective of, but, we have to be aware of it. Ultimately, the goal is to improve the safety of these streets.”
The streetscape project is expected to be under construction for several more months.
