Dove Fest

WINTERS — The 11th annual Winters Dove Fest will feature the Winters Gun & Knife Show from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown Winters; admission is $4 for adults and free for children younger than 11. Dove hunts benefiting the West Texas Rehabilitation Center will be held around Winters. A motorcycle fun run benefiting the rehab center will begin with registration at 9 a.m. at the Winters Community Center; $20 per bike and $10 per passenger. An Elvis Presley tribute will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A barbecue lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Winters Community Center; the cost is $10. Dove hunt and motorcycle fun run participants will be free.

HAMLIN — The Hamlin Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a citywide garage sale in Hamlin. Maps will be available at 8 a.m. at the chamber office, 245 S. Central Ave.

The McMurry University’s jazz ensemble, McMJ, will present a Jazz Jam at 3 p.m. at Bynum Band Hall on campus. Musicians of all ages and experience levels are invited to bring their instruments and sit in with the band, or just listen to the music.
