MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Hennepin County sheriff’s office has completed its investigation into a man’s fatal shooting by a Brooklyn Center police officer last month.
The sheriff’s office submitted the information Friday to the Hennepin County Attorney’s office for review. That’s standard procedure after an investigation into an officer-involved shooting.
The officer shot and killed the man during a traffic stop in Brooklyn Center on Aug. 23.
Authorities have not provided details on what led to the traffic stop.
