Update: Authorities believe a blown tire caused the blaze to begin Friday morning. They say the driver pulled over and then unhooked the trailer.
Nobody was hurt and that part of the interstate was shutdown for a couple of hours.
KIMT News 3- A semi truck caught fire Friday morning on Interstate 35 in north Iowa.
It happened near mile marker 174. Numerous authorities were on scene, including the Iowa State Patrol and law enforcement from Sheffield.
Our reporter on scene says the fire looked to be isolated to the cargo part of the semi, not the cab. There is no word yet on injuries.
