CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — A University of Iowa marketing official has been named director of university relations at the University of Northern Iowa.
UNI said Tuesday that Scott Ketelsen will start his new job next week in which he’ll be charged with overseeing university publications, communications, community relations, media relations and other functions.
Ketelsen has worked at the University of Iowa since 2005, where he is currently director of marketing and media production.
UNI President Bill Ruud said that Ketelsen’s background will help “our overall strategic communications efforts, our enrollment goals and the university’s strategic plan.”
Ketelsen is a UNI alumnus, and he says his “heart has always been with the Panthers.”
