MASON CITY, Iowa – A Louisiana business owner is travelling from down south to show a Mason City company how much he appreciates them.

Max Himmel of Himmel’s Architectural Door and Hardware is making a stop at all of the companies his brand works closely with.

Today he makes a stop at Graham Manufacturing and serves up authentic Louisiana classics like gumbo to those working for the company.

According to Himmel, these types of business relationships are important to maintain.

“Graham Doors, Assa Abloy started me out years ago. This is my way of just coming back and telling the workers thank you for making us one of the top distributors in the United States, and what better way to tell somebody thank you then with food,” said Himmel.

Max continues his nationwide tour of various vendors and companies by making another stop in Wisconsin next.

“Me with Assa Abloy, as a partnership for so many years, we have a great communication together. They know where i’m at, I know where they’re at and we’re going to grow together,” said Himmel.
