DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — A forum focused on providing better education to investors will draw some big names in the investment industry to Des Moines.
The forum is scheduled for Thursday through Sunday at Embassy Suites.
Investor Protection Trust and the Investor Protection Institute, two nonprofit organizations that provide investment education and research, are holding the forum.
The program will review what U.S. organizations have done to educate investors and explore at what needs to be done in the future to ensure Americans have the information they need to make wise and safe investment decisions.
Participants include Knight Kiplinger, editor in chief of the The Kiplinger Letter and Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine; Ken Dychtwald, president and CEO of Age Wave; and Daniel Pink, author of several books.
