AUSTIN, Minn. — A national organization is in need of your help as they respond to the disaster in Colorado.
The American Red Cross is asking for donations from folks.
As many as 18,000 homes have been affected by flooding in the Centennial state.
Red Cross leaders say money donations are needed, to help aid families in the recovery effort.
“These families that have been devastated,” Freeborn-Mower Chapter Executive Director Elaine Hansen said. “Helping them through the initial phase, providing shelter, a place for them to stay, meals, if they need some medical care, clothing, whatever they need to be okay.”
