NASHUA, Iowa – The first day of Fall seemed to be a great day weather wise, and had families out enjoying it on some local orchards.
Its family fun day at Apple on the Avenue farm right along the Avenue of the Saints.
Kids and parents walked along the apple orchard picking the apples that is just right for them.
Games, pumpkin choosing, and other activities were all set up.
Darin Enderton, Manager of the orchard says he loves having days like these open to the public.
“My favorite part is seeing the little kids have fun. We got some great activities set up, horse shoes, Frisbee, bubble blowing, that seems to be a big hit and I set up and apple launcher for the first time. They seem to really like that,” said Enderton.
