Baby drowns at residential treatment facility

SAUK RAPIDS, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say a 3-month-old child has died of apparent drowning at a residential treatment facility in Sauk Rapids.

Police say Fallyn Jasper Ottenhausen died Sunday at Journey Home. Facility staff tried to revive the baby before first responders arrived, but were unsuccessful.

The St. Cloud Times ( ) reports the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office performed an autopsy and made a preliminary determination the baby died of accidental drowning.
