Parolee held in fatal Waterloo stabbing

WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) — Police say a 39-year-old woman is a person of interest in the fatal stabbing of a Waterloo man.

Waterloo police said in a news release Monday that the woman, Keisha Magee, is being held at Black Hawk County Jail on a parole violation. Police say no charges have been filed in the homicide case.

The stabbing of John Bass was reported around 4 a.m. Sunday. Officers found him with a single stab wound in his chest, and he died later at a hospital.

Police haven’t released other details about the case.
