5 girls found safe in Minneapolis after search

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minneapolis police say five young girls who apparently planned to run away together have been found safe.

The girls ages 11 to 13 went missing after school on Monday, setting off a frantic search and plea for help from the public.

The Star Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/19WoU6Q ) that the girls’ families and police say they all were found safe Tuesday evening.
