School no longer in lockdown

KIMT News 3 –  A southern Minnesota school district is no longer in lockdown after a wanted person was chased into a cornfield, according the school district’s website.

According to the site, Police contact the NRHEG school district about the incident, that’s when school officials decided to go into a lockdown. All the doors of schools in the districts were locked and students were kept inside.

The New Richland Police Department says they have not caught the suspect.
