Minn. man cited after attack on postal worker

ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) — Rochester police say a man who didn’t want to pay postage due on a package allegedly attacked a mail carrier over the weekend.

The carrier was trying to deliver the package to a Rochester home Saturday morning. Police say the 55-year-old man didn’t want to pay the postage due, so he put the carrier in a bear hug and ripped the package from him.

The letter carrier wasn’t hurt. The Post Bulletin (http://bit.ly/1ahfB1o ) reports the man was cited for disorderly conduct.
