DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Police have arrested a Des Moines man accused of robbing two teenagers and leaving one naked on the side of a road.
Des Moines police say 23-year-old Nicholas Jackson was taken into custody Tuesday in connection to the early Thursday robbery.
A 19-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl say two armed and masked men jumped into their vehicle and demanded money and jewelry. They later ordered the girl out.
The other teen says he was taken near Highway 5, where he was instructed to take his clothes off and lie face down on the ground.
The Des Moines Register reports (http://dmreg.co/1aTzS1l ) Jackson is charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary with intentional or reckless bodily injury. Court records do not list an attorney.
Police are looking for the second suspect.
