STORM LAKE, Iowa (AP) — Authorities in northwest Iowa say several people have been arrested in connection with a double stabbing at a baptism party over the weekend.
Storm Lake police say the fight broke out Saturday at the Sunrise Pointe Golf Course club house. A man was stabbed twice in the face and a woman was stabbed in the arm. They were treated at a hospital and released.
The Sioux City Journal reports (http://bit.ly/17NGJXv ) 34-year-old Andreas Guillen, of Storm Lake, has been charged with two felony counts of willful injury, a felony charge of assault causing bodily injury and a misdemeanor charge of rioting.
At least three other people have been charged with misdemeanor rioting in connection to the incident. Another woman faces a misdemeanor charge of not following police commands during an investigation.
