DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Des Moines police confiscated a woman’s bow and arrow and took her to jail after receiving complaints from a neighbor.
The Des Moines Register reports (http://dmreg.co/1bLn1sB ) a man and woman returned home Sunday after buying groceries and noticed a neighbor standing on her front porch with a bow and arrow.
According to a police report, she had the bow drawn, ready shoot.
While the man was removing groceries from the car’s trunk, he noted the arrow was pointed at him, and he heard the neighbor ask, “Should I shoot? Should I shoot?”
He went into his house and called police.
Officers seized the bow and arrow and took the woman to the Polk County Jail.
