Des Moines couple’s Christmas presents stolen

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Authorities say a Des Moines couple returned from a family gathering on Christmas Eve to discover that their presents had been stolen.

The Des Moines Register reports (http://dmreg.co/K5DodF ) that the front door was broken open with a pry bar sometime between 5:45 and 7:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say the thief or thieves got an iPad, a laptop, a gaming system, an electric guitar, family heirlooms and $600 worth of Christmas presents.

No arrests have been reported.
