Trial delayed for 2 charged in Webster Co. death

FORT DODGE, Iowa (AP) — A judge has delayed a trial for two people facing first-degree murder charges in the death of a Fort Dodge man.

The Fort Dodge Messenger reports ( ) the Webster County trial for 29-year-old Ronald J. Dilley and 23-year-old Holly N. Ekstrom had been set for Jan. 14, but it was delayed until April 8.

They have both pleaded not guilty in the death of 22-year-old Steven Fisher, whose body was found in a roadside ditch on July 10. Fisher’s remains were identified July 12, and Dilley and Ekstrom were arrested that day.

Dilley and Ekstrom remain in the Webster County Jail on $500,000 bond.
