Minn. Target locked down after robbery

WEST ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Hundreds of customers were kept inside a Target store in West St. Paul as officers searched for a man who robbed the pharmacy.

The store was locked down for about 20 minutes Thursday night.

Police received a report of the robbery at the SuperTarget shortly after 6 p.m. Officers, sheriff’s deputies and state troopers set up a perimeter around the store and searched for the man, but were unsuccessful.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press (http://bit.ly/1cTmy8p ) reports West St. Paul police declined to say whether the gunman received any drugs or money from the pharmacy’s employees.
