ROCHESTER, Minn. — Judges dealing with a huge work load in Minnesota’s Third Judicial District will be getting some help.
Gail Baker is being sworn in as the district’s Family Court Referee.
She will help by hearing cases concerning family law.
Baker has been practicing family law for more than 30 years, and says she is happy to help out.
“With the experience that I have and the expertise that I have developed, that I will be able to use it in a different way to help the children and families of the Third Judicial District,” Baker said.
Baker tells us she should be able to start hearing cases in the first part of February.
