NORTHWOOD, Iowa – A north Iowa man facing first-degree kidnapping charges will now stand trial in April.
Manly resident Chad Lutcavish entered a written plea of not guilty to the charges last week. On Monday, the judge ordered a jury trial to begin on April 2nd.
Lutcavish is accused of assaulting a resident in October.
That resident, Brian Edmonds, told authorities Lutcavish also sprayed him with malathion and sustained injuries to numerous parts of his body.
