Helping aid the judicial system

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Area judicial leaders are coming together in one local community.
Olmsted County, the City of Rochester and the Third Judicial District have formed the Olmsted County Justice Council.
It helps bring leadership and various partners of the judicial system together.
So they can address various issues and contemplate different ideas to help aid the judicial system.
“Lots of people know that Olmsted County has had judicial resources issues, we have had calendars that were out of control,” Olmsted County Attorney Mark Ostrem said. “We’ve had a myriad of issues. We’ve never had the opportunity to get us all together in one room together and talk about this.”
The group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every other month and the meetings are open to the public.
