House fire in Buffalo Center

BUFFALO FIRE

 

UPDATE: As of 7:30 am Friday morning, fire crews are still on the scene of the house fire in Buffalo Center. Crews are there strictly as a precaution, they are no longer battling the fire. The cause is still under investigation.

 

BUFFALO CENTER, Iowa – A house fire brought emergency crews on scene in Buffalo Center around 8pm Thursday.  It was  reported near a  school in town.  Several fire departments and law enforcement have responded to the scene including Buffalo Center police, fire, and ambulance, Rake and Thompson fire departments, and the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office. We don’t know if anyone was in the home or if there are any injuries, but will update this story as soon as we know more.
