Addressing transportation needs

KIMT NEWS 3 — A Minnesota coalition is looking to bring the urgent transportation needs in the state to the forefront.
Move MN and counties from around the state are joining up, hoping to make transportation a priority during the 2014 Legislative Session.
The groups are seeking a comprehensive, balanced transportation package that keeps Minnesota competitive and help create long-term economic growth for counties across the state.
“Anything we can do from a comprehensive standpoint to bring more money back to the local and state and federal dollars coming into the state, better for everybody,’ Freeborn County Administrator John Kluever said.
He says with transportation at the federal, state or local levels,
There isn’t enough money to keep up with the infrastructure they currently have and keep it in shape that residents come to expect.
