Rochester discussing the future of two old schools

ROCHESTER, Minn. – Tuesday night, Rochester school board members will discuss the future of two former elementary school buildings.
The district is considering selling Gage East and Golden Hill.
Gage East hasn’t been used as classrooms since 2009, and students moved out of Golden Hill last year.
The board has held public hearings on both schools.
Tuesday night, board members will decide whether to allow the district to begin accepting bids for the purchase of both buildings.
