MASON CITY, Iowa – Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank currently serves as many as 1,800 people each month, and they’re doing it out of a tight space at Mohawk Square in Mason City.
However, Hawkeye Harvest has reached a point where it can no longer operate in their current location. They’re hoping to find a new office with triple the space, but that’s going to take funding, planning and help from the community.
Anyone who might have a building with at least 4,000 sq. feet of space available is encouraged to call the food bank.
