CERRO GORDO COUNTY, Iowa - Alcohol may have played a role in a crash on Interstate 35 Thursday morning.

Cerro Gordo County deputies responded to a vehicle rollover around 12:30 a.m.just north of the Clear Lake/Mason City exit.

Two people were inside the vehicle when it crashed — the driver, Razag Juma, and a passenger, Angelina Kouith. They are both from Des Moines.

Deputies were able to pull Kouith from the SUV, thanks to the help of others who stopped to help. She was taken to Mercy Medical Center North Iowa.

Juma was arrested for OWI, not having a valid Iowa license, Fail to Prove Security, and Fail to Maintain Control.
