FLOYD COUNTY, Iowa – Fire crews are on the scene of a mobile home fire in rural Nashua.
A call for help came in shortly after 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Authorities responding to the scene at 3185 240th Street described the building as “fully engulfed.” Early reports indicate there was no one inside the home when the call for help was made. A bystander tells KIMT News 3 that a man was inside when the fire began but was not hurt.
Responders from Nashua and Floyd County fire departments, Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, and an ambulance service were all on scene. As of 4:50 p.m. a second water truck was being brought in to extinguish the flames.
