Fillmore Central closes thanks to water leak

HARMONY, Minn. – A water main break is causing a local school to shutdown for the day.

Fillmore Central Public School Superintendent Richard Keith says a fire hydrant near the high school sprung a leak Sunday. He said the repair work will require the water to the school to be shut off for at least 4 hours Monday.

Classes are slated to begin again Tuesday.
