GARNER, Iowa – An employee in the Garner-Hayfield School District is facing arraignment on charges of first degree fraud and records tampering.
Online court records show, a hearing is scheduled on April 8th for Brooke Banse.
Banse was the student advocate for the elementary school.
She is accused of falsifying logs, so she could receive medicaid payments worth more than $10,000.
In March, the school board placed Banse on paid administrative leave.
If convicted, she could face prison time as well as fines.
