“All Iowa Reads” program promotes a conversation among Iowans

LITTLE WOLVES

CHARLES CITY, IA - One Iowa program is using books to unite people from all over the state.

Every year those libraries participating in “All Iowa Reads” promote the book of the year and this year, the chosen book is “Little Wolves” by Thomas Maltman.

It just so happens Maltman is from Minnesota and when the Charles City Library Director called and asked him to come to her library he said yes.

“We have the author, Thomas Maltman coming to visit and to tell us about the book and it’s kind of a lunch and learn thing if you want to bring a lunch if you need to eat lunch at that particular time your welcome to bring your lunch into the library’s astro-room and enjoy this program,” says Library Director Jill Gray.

This will be next Thursday at noon at the Charles City Library.

Anyone can pick up “Little Wolves” at their local library and take part in the state-wide discussion.
