MANKATO, Minn. (AP) — Mankato police are trying to determine if there was more than one shooter responsible for the chaotic scene outside a club early Easter morning that left one dead and three others injured.
Mankato Public Safety Commander Jeremy Clifton says that while the three were arrested, officials are still sorting out what exact involvement, if any, they had in the shooting outside the Kato Entertainment Center. One person was arrested for carrying a gun without a permit. The other two were arrested for disorderly conduct.
Clifton says more arrests are possible as the investigation continues.
The Free Press (http://bit.ly/Pnb0Wx ) says the shooting happened in the parking lot as an event inside was winding down. About 140 people scattered following gunshots outside the club about 2 a.m. following an event for a Sudanese student group from Minnesota State University.
