ALBERT LEA, Minn. – A Salvation Army red kettle containing money was stolen from the Albert Lea Salvation Army store.

Captain Jim Brickson of the Albert Lea Salvation Army said it happened a little before 5:30 Wednesday evening. Brickson says a man came into the store, bought some items, and waited for the clerk to leave the counter. That’s when the man took the kettle, which contained about $150.00.

Brickson describes the man as a white male in his twenties. If you have any information you’re asked to contact the Albert Lea Police Department.
