Two arrests follow two armed robberies in Rochester.

ROCHESTER, Minn. – A couple of armed robberies in northeast Rochester lead to two arrests.  Authorities say a 32 year old man reported being in his apartment on the 600 block of 11th Avenue NE when he heard a knock at the door around 12:40 am Wednesday.  According to the police report, a man and three women were waiting for him.  Two of the women had knives.  The man allegedly punched the victim and demanded money.  The police report says the victim gave him some electronics.  The victim says the group then went to the neighboring apartment and stole a PlayStation and a pitbull puppy.  Police recognized a nickname of one of the women and officers went to her home, finding a stolen puppy and another woman believed to be involved in the robberies.  Both women were arrested.  Their identities have not been released.
