Man arrested after stabbing and shooting

MASON CITY INCIDENT

MASON CITY, Iowa – A Mason City man was arrested early Monday morning for shooting two people with an air soft gun and also stabbing one of the victims as well.

Bradley Heinold, 25, was arrested and charged with willful injury assault resulting in serious injury, assault resulting in a bodily injury and interference with official acts.

Officers were sent to 1022 North Hampshire Avenue a little after 5 a.m. and found 31-year-old Kevin Jones with a serious wound to his face.

After investigating, officers say Heinold shot both Jones and another person, 20-year-old Aleah Duda with an air soft gun.

Jones was also stabbed in his side and had a wound on his nose. He was transported to Mercy Medical Center North Iowa and treated for his injuries.
