ROCHESTER, Minn. – Two men are behind bars after a stabbing early Saturday morning in Rochester. According to police Mohamed June, 21, and Mohamed Ahmed, 20, were arrested and charged with assault. The stabbings occurred during a large fight at 851 21st St. SE, near the Edge Apartments. Police described the scene as ‘chaotic’, but were able to work the scene. “Well you have multiple things to try and do at once. We render aid to the victims, secure a crime scene, figure out who the suspects might be and rely that information to responding officers. And in this case that was all done to perfection.” Rochester Police Department Captain John Sherwin said.
Three individuals were stabbed and taken to St. Mary’s hospital, all are expected to survive. June and Ahmed were taken into custody when police found a knife in their vehicle during a traffic stop, and noticed the two were covered in blood. More charges could be filed.
