CLEAR LAKE, Iowa – Folks gathered for a night filled with live music, cold drinks, and fundraising earlier this week.
It was the 8th annual Little Black Dress Night in Clear Lake.
The event gives the community a chance to doll up for a good cause. A local celebrity wait staff is brought in, including KIMT’s own Colleen O’Shaughnessy, to serve drinks. Their tips, along with all other proceeds of the night go to three well deserving organizations.
“This is the 8th annual, Little Black Dress Night to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network, Cerro Gordo County Relay For Life, and Opportunity Village Children’s Autism Center,” says Jerod Allen with Three Eagles Communications.
He says in previous years they were able to raise over $5,000 and are hoping to do even better this year.
