ROCHESTER, Minn. – A city council member is asking that a local business be shutdown, at least for a little while.
According to council member Michael Wojcik, large pieces of siding from the Holiday Inn near downtown Rochester have been falling. He believes these pieces of the building would be large enough to cause serious damage or even death. Wojcik says he will take action. “I am going to ask the city council on Monday in the interest of public safety, shut this place down until they can turn this into a safe building in Rochester,” he said.
The hotel has only been around for a few years.
