Argument allegedly leads to multiple assaults

CLEAR LAKE, Iowa – Two men have been arrested after an argument apparently led to multiple assaults.  The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 54-year-old Rodney Rae Blodgett of Clear Lake for domestic assault, two counts of assault causing bodily injury and driving while license suspended.  37-year-old Jason David Thompson of Forest City was arrested for serious assault.  The men are accused in connection with an incident involving 43-year-old Lisa Lacy and an 11-year-old minor, both of Clear Lake, and 20-year-old Ashley Lacy of Mason City.  Sheriff Kevin Pals says the incident took place at a Clear Lake residence identified as the residence of both Blodgett and Lisa Lacy and the minor child.  The alleged assaults were reported at 6:52 pm Monday.
