The problem of road rage

MASON CITY, Iowa – It can be an all to common occurrence when driving, but law enforcement is warning folks about the potential dangers of road rage.

Just this week a man from Waterloo was sentenced to 78 months in prison after a road rage incident.

Local law enforcement says they do get calls reporting road rage, but many times drivers try to take matters into their own hands which they do not recommend.

“We would prefer, rather than you or somebody else getting all upset about some other driver’s bad decision. A lot of times people just make mistakes when they’re driving. Rather than citizens taking it into their own hands to call 911 and report it before it gets out of hand,” says Cerro Gordo County Sheriff Kevin Pals.
