ROCHESTER, Minn. – Heavy rains over the weekend have caused damage at least to one apartment building.
The Rochester Fire Department says they got a call about water gushing into apartments located on 16th Street Southeast. Due to construction being done on the road in front of the buildings, crews had to cover manholes around the site. Officials believe this is the cause for the water to get inside the apartments. Authorities say water was six inches deep in some places. So far, no word on if anyone was displaced.
