Sunday rollover hospitalizes two

WORTH CO., Iowa – Two people are in the hospital after surviving a crash that caused their truck to roll over several times.

It happened just after 6:00 PM on Thrush Avenue in Worth County on Sunday.

The Iowa State Patrol, Worth County Sheriff’s Office, Mercy Air Med, and other agencies responded. They found one person in the truck had been thrown far from the crash scene after the driver lost control.

“There was a vehicle going eastbound on 410th St. after crossing the intersection of Thrush and rolled multiple times, ejecting one,” says Iowa State Patrol Trooper Mike Haugen.

That person was taken by Mercy Air Med to Mercy Medical Center North Iowa in Mason City. The other person was taken by ambulance. There is no word yet on their conditions.
