OSAGE, Iowa- The town of Osage drew in a large crowd on Friday for the annual Independence Day parade. This year the town added a new décor to the scenery, a 20 by 30 foot American flag.
Connie Wagner, 4th District President of the American Legion Auxiliary, makes walking in the parade a tradition.
“Up until a few years ago I use to walk it with the girl scouts and then with the legion,” says Wagner.
Wagner has been a part of the Osage County for 57 years.
She says she is very proud of being a citizen of Osage as well as part of Mitchell County.
