Byron teen facing drug charges after crash

OLMSTED CO., Minn. – A local teenager, who suffered minor injuries in a weekend crash, is now facing drug charges.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says they found 18-year-old Tasha Freeman of Byron in her vehicle in a cornfield early Saturday morning. Nobody else was in the vehicle, but deputies found prescription drugs, meth, and even acid inside her car. Freeman was treated and released from St. Mary’s Hospital. She is now facing felony drug charges.
