New night class program is coming to NIACC in Fall

MASON CITY, Iowa - There are some changes in the works for night classes at an area college.

North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) will be offering a new program called “NIACC @ Night.”

It’s a new idea designed to help busy students and adult students complete their general education courses both at night and online.

The Mason City based college has offered evening classes in the past, however Cindy Lind, a NIACC enrollment specialist, says this new hybrid system will help folks studying for a two year degree get through things a little faster.

“This is a great opportunity for adult students who have a busy schedule,” she explains, “They can fit it in and get their two years done in two years”

Lind tells us she studied as an adult at NIACC.

She says this program is going to change the game for older students and says she wishes it was an option when she was attending NIACC.

Lind tells us that the program will be kicking off this fall and if anyone is interested in the NIACC at Night program, they can call the Admissions Office at 641-422-4245.
