ROCHESTER, Minn. – The months are counting down until the opening of a new health building in Rochester.
Officials are eyeing an October opening for the new Olmsted Medical Center’s Women’s Health Pavilion. One of the biggest features of the new facility will be better areas for child birth. Those with the medical center say it’s important for them to keep the family together after birth. “And this facility is going to allow us to do that in a way that our current birth center doesn’t. Basically rooms will be along the lines of a very nice hotel room area,” Jeremy Salucka with Marketing and Communications at OMC said.
Salucka says the main building will continue to be open during construction.
