Motion for mistrial denied

MASON CITY, Iowa – The prosecution made a motion for a mistrial this morning in the Michael Cisneros murder trial.

That came after the defense chose to speak about an interview that John Snyder Senior did with KIMT that was considered inadmissible at a pretrial.

The judge has since denied the motion.

In the interview, Snyder Sr. said he would volunteer to take a polygraph test. The trial continues and Snyder Sr. is still on the stand.

This is the defenses second warning about their line of questioning.
