ROCHESTER, Minn. – An Olmsted County Commissioner is getting yet another position.

Paul Wilson, who serves the third district in Olmsted County, recently was named to the the Greater Minnesota Housing Fund (GMHF)) Board of Directors as a county commissioner representative. Basically, the board will help plan for affordable housing, not only in Olmsted County, but across Minnesota. “We had a housing study done last yea,r and if you look at the fact that upwards of 22,000 new units need to be established in Olmsted County and the surrounding area. For the economy that will grow here, that’s significant. That’s like adding another community,’ Wilson said.

Wilson tells KIMT News 3 that he is very honored to take the position.
