ROCHESTER, Minn. – Police are once again investigating a shooting in Rochester.
This one happened Wednesday night just before midnight in the 2400 block of Knollwood Drive SE. Police believe there was some kind of small party that let out and soon it became an altercation outside a home. Witnesses tell police that a person in a dark colored SUV drove past the group and fired up to six rounds into the air. Authorities say they found the casings for four rounds at the scene. Nobody was hurt and there are no suspects.There was another shooting Tuesday but police say there is no connection. “In the summer months sometimes we do get this series of events that occur like this. In this case, we don’t believe there is any relation between the two,” Lt. Mike Sadauskis said.
